Oay, here. I work at BAZOOF! Headquarters. We love publishing our readers’ stories and art. Follow the three steps below to submit your work for potential publication in BAZOOF! Magazine.

1. Pick an idea

Submissions are welcome from youth ages 7-12 without any use of AI, apart from a spelling and grammar check. If you can have your submissions proofed by an adult before submitting it, that would be marvelous!

Ideas of what you could send me:

  • Short story suitable for ages 8-12 years; 500 words or less (doesn’t include romance, violence, fighting, not too scary, gruesome, or dark-natured)
  • True story of an experience you had that was meaningful or taught you a lesson; 500 words or less
  • Poem (short to medium in length is preferred)
  • Art: Drawing (coloured), painting, or other type
  • Pet photo and description
  • Eco education / Environment article
  • Joke, riddle, embarrassing moment, or tongue twister
  • Tell me about a sport you enjoy or a musical instrument you play
  • Comic (coloured preferred)
  • An article that would suit youth 7-12 years old
